Nanhe munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai ?..

I was watching a movie Boot Polish yesterday, the song Nanhe Munhe Bacche Teri Muthi Mein Kya Hai?.....to my mind is such a futuristic song written in 1974.Here how it goes:

Nanhe munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai
muthi mein hai taqdeer humari
muthi mein hai taqdeer humari
humne kismat ko bas mein kiya hai

bholi bhaali matwaali aankho mein kya hai
aankhon mein jhoome umeedon ki diwali
aankhon mein jhoome umeedon ki diwali
aane wali duniya ka sapna saja hai

nanhe munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai

Bheek mein jo moti milega loge ya na loge
zindagi ke aansuyon ka bolo kya karoge

bheek mein jo moti mile to bhi hum na lenge
zindagi ke aansuyon ki mala pehne ge
mushkilon se ladhte phirte jeene mein maza hai

Nanhe munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai..

Humse na chhuh paayo baccho humein to bataayo
aane wali duniya kaisi hogi samjhaayo
aane wali duniya mein sab ke sar pe taj ho
na bhookon ki bheedh hogina dukhon ka raj ho
badle ga zamana yeh sitaaron pe likha hain

Nanhne munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai...

Nanhe Munne bacche teri muthi mein kya hai ?

Now in 2006 kids have answer to this question which is muthi mein hai taqdeer humari...Taqdeer is come out in the form of ,Technology,Internet ( Google culture ) ,Mobile communication..which i think make kids to see through there eyes "umeedon ki diwali".

What is important now is that these kids should take this taqdeer( technology) and create, innovate and make sure that they acheive this :
aane wali duniya mein sab ke sar pe taj ho
na bhookon ki bheedh hogi
na dukhon ka raj ho
badle ga zamana yeh sitaaron pe likha hai

This is my first post on the blog,Want to start it with something simple.Let me start with this : A simple man P.LDeshpande Purushottam Laxman Deshpande (पुरुशोत्तम लक्षमण देशपांडे)(November 8, 1919 - June 12, 2000) was a noted Indian writer in Marathi. He was also famous as an orator and performing artist. Born in Mumbai, he was educated at Pune's Ferguson College and Willingdon College, Sangli He worked as a lecturer and teacher before making his move into literature in the 1940s.Pu La had a deep interest in the Hindustani classical music and musical theatre in Maharashtra. He vividly described it in his writings, popularised it and ultimately became a part of it. He played the Harmonium and was a talented singer. Moreover He was a good music & film director as well as a great actor.
This weekend i was watching DVD of P.L Deshpande's marathi play called Batatyachi Chaal and his other performance .What surprised me was his brillaint observation of life and the world around. The way he describes the characters and plots of this "chaal" it gives a sense of whats happening around us and in the Indian Society. The stories are such that you can identify with yourself whereever you are in India and it comes across as its happening right in your house, with neighbours, street any where.I realised that seeing life through such a simple personlaity makes life intresting, it includes you, makes you feel part of the society and accepts you for what you are.
